Job Summary
The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve (FRB) is seeking an experienced Product Manager to support the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team within the IT Division. The GRC team is responsible for defining, implementing, and managing compliance, policy, privacy, outreach, and risk management processes across the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess strong product management expertise combined with experience working with security, compliance, and risk management teams in a federal environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Product Management experience.
- Minimum 2+ years working with Security, Compliance, Risk Management, or Governance teams.
- Strong experience gathering business requirements, creating user stories, managing product backlogs, and developing product roadmaps.
- Experience streamlining and automating business processes through technology solutions.
- Knowledge of Federal security compliance frameworks including:
- Understanding of Federal information security principles and privacy regulations.
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with Engineering and DevOps teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration experience.
- Proven ability to translate complex security and compliance requirements into business-friendly solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and synthesize requirements from technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Translate regulatory requirements, policies, and stakeholder needs into detailed product requirements and user stories.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps for GRC automation initiatives.
- Drive measurable improvements in compliance, efficiency, and risk reduction.
- Manage and prioritize product backlogs while balancing strategic and tactical objectives.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and DevOps teams to integrate security and privacy controls into Agile development processes.
- Support organization-wide understanding and accessibility of policy and process requirements.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication, alignment, and transparency regarding product roadmap and delivery outcomes.
- Measure product performance and leverage feedback and analytics for continuous process improvement.
