Key accountabilities include:
- Leading the execution of electrical engineering activities on assigned projects or defined project scopes.
- Supporting project planning and delivery, including participation in relevant meetings, preparation of progress reports, and compliance with required checking and quality assurance procedures.
- Ensuring project scope is clearly defined and that changes are managed in accordance with project change management processes.
- Providing technical input and support during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases, including:
o Preparation and review of electrical equipment and materials requisitions.
o Technical bid evaluations.
o Review of vendor documentation and purchase orders. - Coordinating electrical engineering activities with multidisciplinary teams (process, instrumentation, mechanical, piping, automation) to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies between Worley and client standards and requirements.
- Supporting the development and technical review of electrical engineering deliverables.
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to intermediate and junior engineers and designers as required.
- Communicating effectively with internal teams, clients, and project stakeholders.

What you will bring:
Technical and Industry Experience:
- Demonstrated experience delivering electrical engineering work on industrial projects (e.g., energy, mining, chemicals, power, or infrastructure).
- Working experience in vendor selection, including technical evaluations.
- Working knowledge of engineering systems, workflows, and document management tools.
- Familiarity with process safety and operability considerations (e.g., participation in HAZOP/LOPA where electrical systems interface with safety functions).
- Experience in overall project execution including engineering, procurement, shipping, installation, strt -up, and project management.
Strong working knowledge of Electrical Engineering deliverables, including: - Electrical single-line diagrams and schematics.
• Power distribution studies and load lists.
• Motor control center (MCC) layouts and schematics.
• Cable schedules, routing, tray and conduit layouts.
• Grounding and bonding drawings.
• Lighting and small power layouts.
• Area classification and hazardous area electrical layouts.
• Bills of material.
• Material requisitions.
• Construction and engineering work packages. Working knowledge of electrical system design and application, including:
• Low and medium voltage power distribution systems.
• Motor control and protection systems.
• Variable frequency drives (VFDs).
• Lighting systems and emergency power.
• Grounding, bonding, and lightning protection.
• Hazardous area electrical design and applicable codes/standards.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
Required:
- Accredited Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in industrial electrical engineering
- Professional Engineer registration or the ability to obtain licensure.
- Solid experience in electrical engineering roles on multidisciplinary projects.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, review, and interpret electrical designs, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
