Provides guidance to the core areas of Internal Operations, specifically MLI, Client Support, and IT services related to Referral testing. Serves as local document manager for MCL Referrals, maintains electronic Referral Test Catalog and MCL related fields in Laboratory Test Catalog. Responsible for reviewing test changes from referral labs, fee schedule updates, and initiating change control to downstream systems. Must have exemplary human relations skills and proven problem-solving skills. Must be able to identify, analyze, evaluate, and solve specimen problems in support of Internal Operations and MLI. Works with DLMP Laboratories, internal collections areas, Mayo physicians, and Central Processing to resolve patient specimen issues. Requires critical thinking skills related to reporting test results from a large number of referral labs. Provides quality reporting for all involved in the reporting process.

- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Science and 3 years’ experience in Mayo Clinic Laboratories and/or a clinical laboratory is required.
- In lieu of a Bachelors' Degree, 8 years of experience in the DLMP or MCL is acceptable.
- Requires excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, prompt follow-through and closure of identified actions, an ability to prioritize and an ability to work independently and contribute as a team member.
- Knowledge or experience with computers and the ability to troubleshoot problems is essential. Must be able to adapt to unpredictable situations in a rapidly changing environment.
