Experience & Key Responsibilities:
- Verify dental and medical insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage for surgical procedures
- Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement
- Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment estimates, insurance breakdowns, and financial responsibility
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to support efficient case processing and scheduling
- Maintain accurate insurance records and documentation within practice management systems
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
Requirements
- Previous dental, oral surgery, or medical insurance coordinating/billing experience preferred
- Strong understanding of insurance plans, claims processing, and EOB interpretation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly and professionally
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented specialty practice
