As a Senior Account Sales Manager, you will shape customer relationships and drive business growth within the Heavy Duty Power Services Gas portfolio, leading strategic engagements and managing the full sales cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Lead sales efforts within a defined geographic territory, driving growth across products, services, parts, and solutions while maintaining a strong commercial focus and strategic influence representing GE Vernova
- Develop and execute long-term strategic account and communication plans, ensuring a unified “one face to the customer” approach across offerings and functions
- Manage and grow a robust sales pipeline, including complex, multi-offering transactions such as parts, repairs, outage services, upgrades, digital solutions, and service agreements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Engineering, Customer Fulfillment, and Marketing to enhance proposal strategies, outage planning, and customer engagement
- Maintain accurate opportunity and project data in internal systems (e.g., NEX), and support demand forecasting and pacing activities
- Provide leadership in proposal development, leveraging templates and tools to create compelling offers that align with customer needs and business goals
- Monitor market trends, competitor actions, and customer strategies to identify new opportunities and inform sales tactics
- Apply sound judgment to solve complex problems, recommend best practices, and influence internal and external stakeholders with data-driven insights
- May lead or contribute to functional teams or projects, guiding others and communicating complex concepts effectively to drive alignment and results
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 8 years of technical knowledge and experience within the Power Generation Industry in either Commercial roles, Sales, and/or Project Management of Power Generation Equipment
- Strong technical background with advanced knowledge of our Gas Power Fleet & auxiliary systems / upgrade offerings
- Broad and deep understanding of the commercial cycle, including product line / marketing / sales / commercial operations / engineering
- Ability to work across functions independently and be a self-starter driver developing relationships at the C-suite of internal / external customer
- Superior business acumen / analytic ability to manage and influence in a matrix environment with commercial leadership skills
- Long-term business mindset with Financial, analytical skills, and strategic planning capabilities
