Role : Service Transition Manager

Job Description:
- Develop and own the end-to-end Service Transition Plan for each migration covering: cutover weekend runbook, on-prem system freeze timeline, cloud go-live activation steps, and legacy system decommission schedule
- Review the go-live readiness checklist for every active cutover or transition event daily update status, flag open items, and assign owners with same-day resolution SLA for cutover-blocking issues.
- Conduct a weekly transition readiness review with each POD Delivery Lead/Mgr validate cutover runbook completeness, mock cutover results, and legacy decommission planning; produce a written transition risk register update.
- Owns the pre- and post-go-live transition for every migration ensuring seamless handover from migration project to stable cloud operations. Accountable for cutover planning, hypercare, and legacy decommission. All 3 positions are based in the USA, providing USA-business-hours cutover command and client-facing transition leadership across the factory.
- Acts as the bridge between customer, delivery, and factory teams
- Owns operational readiness before each migration wave
- Reduces migration risk and business disruption - For a US customer, an onsite USA-based role is especially valuable because they can work in the customer s business hours, attend workshops, manage escalations directly, and build trust with plant, finance, operations, and executive stakeholders.
