The Associate Project Manager will support the planning, execution, and delivery of projects related to physical security technology, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordinating project activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Support project managers in developing project plans, timelines, and deliverables
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Coordinate communication between project teams and local business operation leaders, ensuring all parties are informed and aligned
- Conduct project risk assessments and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports, meeting notes, and presentations
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions
- Maintain project management tools and systems to track project milestones and deliverables
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful implementation of security solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, in a related field or an additional 4 years of work experience in quantitative or business fields
- 1+ years of experience in project management or a related role, preferably in the technology or security industry
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Smartsheets, Jira, Asana, Salesforce)
- Basic understanding of physical security technologies are required (e.g. Axis, Genetec, Mercury, Aiphone, Von Duprin, HID)
- Familiarity with physical security technology systems (e.g., video surveillance, electronic access control, electronic door hardware, intrusion detection, intercom)
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Project Schedule Management via Ghhant Chart, Budget management, Cost Performance management) is a plus
- Security Platform Certifications are a plus. (e.g. Genetec, Axis, Software House, OpenPath)
