Business Intelligence Engineer – Transportation Asset Analytics

IntePros is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to support transportation asset analytics and lifecycle reporting in a large-scale logistics environment. The role involves analyzing asset utilization, repair trends, and location tracking data while building scalable ETL pipelines and reporting solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze transportation asset lifecycle data including usage, mileage, repairs, and location tracking
• Build and maintain dashboards focused on asset performance, repair analysis, and operational trends
• Develop and support ETL jobs and business analytics data pipelines
• Perform deep-dive analytics across multiple operational domains related to fleet and asset management
• Work with large-scale datasets containing asset tracking and lifecycle information
• Partner closely with analytics, product, hardware, and software teams to support reporting and data initiatives
• Deliver insights that improve visibility into asset utilization, operational efficiency, and maintenance trends
• Support ongoing monthly analytics initiatives and reporting deliverables

Requirements:

• Strong SQL experience
• Dashboard development experience with QuickSight or similar BI tools
• Experience building ETL jobs and business analytics data pipelines
• 3+ years of relevant analytics or business intelligence experience
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Comfortable working with large-scale operational datasets
• Able to independently manage reporting and analytics deliverables
• Effective communicator who can work cross-functionally with technical and business teams
• Curious and proactive in identifying trends, issues, and improvement opportunities
• Experience working with IoT or location tracking datasets
• Background transforming and optimizing large operational datasets
• Familiarity with transportation, logistics, or fleet analytics environments
