Job Summary
We are looking for someone really experienced in the Southern Cone market who will be responsible to ensure compliance with local legal requirements. This professional has solid experience in local labor laws, understanding of total rewards, managing Union and employee relations, government reporting requirements, and immigration conditions. The ideal candidate must be experienced in partnering closely with senior management and in understanding business needs and priorities.
The position is based in San Fernando, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

What you will do
As a Head of HR Country Services you will:
- Lead the review of local rewards strategy, policies, and guidelines in the country, including compensation review guidelines (and negotiations) and benefits programs, working closely with the HR Country Committee. Leads local country/countries specific rewards projects in cooperation with HR Service Center.
- Drive the labor relations strategy in the market, acting as the main contact and representative with local unions in labor relations issues and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with country regulations including regulatory requirements on HR core processes and country specific regulatory training. Act as the main contact with country government authorities for labor related topics.
- Manage internal /external audits and labor suits, including interacting with internal and external counsels and representing Tetra Pak in court when required.
- Set and govern country policies and procedures in the country where appropriate including employment terms and conditions, in collaboration with the HR Country Committee.
- Secure legal compliance of HR processes and drive alignment with global processes
- Guarantee the resourcing process country is legally compliance in coordination with the Service Center
- Supports HR Business Partners in driving country specific employee engagement actions.
- Be an active driver/partner locally in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion agenda.
- Manage the HR Factory Representative and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Officer.
We believe you have
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Law, or related areas.
- English Fluent is mandatory
- Spanish is required
- At least 5 years of experience in multinational companies
- Background as an HR Business Partner, HR Senior Manager, or other senior HR positions are relevant
- Experience in supporting a senior leadership team
- OHS knowledge/experience is a plus
