Imply is a company dedicated to empowering organizations with data insights, and they are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to drive the adoption of their product, Imply Lumi. The role involves engaging with technical buyers, generating new business opportunities, and educating the market on the product's value.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting (email, LinkedIn, events, and target campaigns)
- Research heavily into accounts to maximize the value of outreach
- Qualify inbound leads and guide early-stage discovery conversations
- Educate prospects on the value of Imply Lumi use cases
- Partner with Account Executives to transition qualified opportunities and support deal progression
- Collaborate closely with Marketing to refine messaging and campaign targeting
- Maintain accurate activity & pipeline tracking in SFDC
- Continuously learn about the product, the landscape and SaaS industry trends
Requirements:
- Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and be self-motivated
- A passion for research as well as strong in-person, phone, and written customer communication skills
- Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Ability to make formal and informal presentations to staff and clients
- Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals
- Prior track record of achievement in positions with significant accountability
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce
- Experience working on observability or SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, Cribl, etc
