VivaZen is a category-leading wellness brand that has redefined the market with its plant-powered products. The Inside Sales Representative will drive new business development by engaging retail accounts across the United States, managing a pipeline of leads, and contributing to company growth.
Responsibilities:
- Drive New Account Openings: Make high-volume outbound calls to qualified kratom-aware retail leads — convenience stores, smoke shops, and head shops — and close first orders through the B2B Shopify portal
- Own Your Pipeline: Manage every lead from first contact through close, logging all activity in CRM with accuracy and discipline. Your pipeline is your business
- Build Call Volume: Execute consistent, high-output daily dial activity. This is a results-through-volume role — you must be comfortable making 80–100+ calls per day
- Manage Follow-Ups: When a prospect says call back next week — call back next week. Consistent follow-through is the difference between a good rep and a great one
- Multi-SKU Selling: Introduce new accounts to the full VivaZen product line. Closing on one SKU is the floor, not the ceiling
- CRM Compliance: Maintain 90%+ CRM accuracy on all call activity, lead stages, and order entries. Your data is your book of business
- Collaborate: Work with Coral and Colin to improve your close rate, refine your pitch, and accelerate your path to the Order Desk
Requirements:
- 2+ years of inside sales, telesales, or call center experience — required
- Demonstrated comfort with high call volume (80–100+ outbound dials per day)
- Experience selling into retail or wholesale accounts over the phone
- CRM proficiency — Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent; must be able to manage a pipeline independently
- Thick skin and tenacity — kratom retail accounts (c-stores, smoke shops, head shops) are notoriously difficult to reach; you must handle objections and unavailability without losing momentum
- Reliable home office setup: computer, high-speed internet, dedicated phone
- Driven, self-directed, and accountable — remote work is not an opportunity to work when you feel like it; it is an opportunity to outperform
- 1099 independent contractor status — must understand and accept this classification
- High school diploma or GED required
- Central or West Coast time zone strongly preferred; Eastern considered for exceptional candidates
