Phizenix Inc is a Tech Talent Solutions, IT Services and IT Consulting organization based out of Livermore, CA. They are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to expand their client base and revenue, focusing on acquiring new clients and growing accounts within the IT staffing sector.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and open net-new client relationships across technology, semiconductor, and enterprise sectors
- Sell IT staffing and workforce solutions (contract, contract-to-hire, direct hire) targeting $2M–$5M deal values
- Navigate and win within MSP/VMS-managed programs (Fieldglass, Beeline, Wand, IQN)
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline through cold calls, networking, and referrals
- Collaborate with Phizenix recruiting teams to ensure delivery quality and client satisfaction
- Manage the full sales cycle: discovery, proposal, negotiation, close, and account growth
- Meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets
Requirements:
- 5+ years of business development or sales experience in IT staffing
- Proven track record of acquiring new logos and growing accounts to $2M–$5M+
- Hands-on experience working within MSP environments and VMS platforms
- Established network of hiring managers, procurement leads, or CXO contacts in the Bay Area
- Experience selling to Silicon Valley clients (tech, SaaS, semiconductor, or enterprise)
- Strong hunter mentality with the ability to generate leads independently
- Excellent consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Prior experience at or selling alongside firms
- Familiarity with SOW-based staffing engagements
- Experience in both direct client and MSP channel sales motions
