*Position Overview*
Our client in Cincinnati, OH is seeking 1 2 Embedded Firmware Engineers with strong experience programming Texas Instruments TI C2000 microcontrollers. This is an urgent, short-term engagement to help accelerate the delivery of a critical hardware project.
The ideal candidate will be available to travel and work onsite for approximately 4 6 weeks. Candidates with a valid U.S. work visa who can travel immediately are encouraged to apply. While remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates, onsite support is strongly preferred.
This opportunity also has the potential to lead to involvement in future embedded systems projects.
*Responsibilities*
Develop, modify, and debug embedded firmware for Texas Instruments TI C2000 microcontrollers.
Work closely with the engineering team to support printed circuit board (PCB) assembly and hardware integration.
Troubleshoot embedded software and hardware interaction issues.
Support testing, validation, and system integration activities.
Collaborate with electrical and hardware engineers to meet aggressive project timelines.
Review and implement functionality based on system documentation and design specifications.
*Required Qualifications*
Strong hands-on experience programming Texas Instruments TI C2000 microcontrollers.
Proficiency in embedded C/C++ programming.
Experience with embedded hardware debugging and firmware development.
Understanding of microcontroller peripherals such as ADC, PWM, SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and GPIO.
Experience working with custom PCB-based embedded systems.
Ability to quickly understand existing firmware and contribute immediately.
*Preferred Qualifications*
Experience with power electronics, industrial controls, or embedded hardware systems.
Familiarity with PCB bring-up and hardware validation.
Experience working in fast-paced engineering environments with tight delivery schedules.
