They are seeking a strategic Product Manager to drive privacy and data protection product investments, collaborating with various engineering and legal teams to develop solutions that enable responsible data use.
Responsibilities:
- Build and own a strategic roadmap for various privacy and data protection domains, from ideation and requirements through execution, delivery, measurement, and iteration
- Drive adoption, development, and execution of cross-org privacy solutions through strong partnerships and the ability to influence cross-functional teams toward optimal paved path solutions that balance privacy, business velocity, and trust
- Translate privacy principles and business requirements from Privacy Engineering, Data Protection, and Privacy Infrastructure Engineering teams in PDPE into clear, actionable product requirements
- Own the product vision for data governance tooling, including privacy rights management, retention, and data protection controls, making it easy for engineering and data teams to do the right thing by default
- Enable privacy safe data practices by identifying opportunities where governance unlocks business value
- Build business cases and measure impact: define KPIs and reporting mechanisms that demonstrate both risk reduction and the tangible business value of privacy product investments
- Communicate clearly across audiences, from technical engineering partners to senior leadership, through high-quality memos, narratives, and presentations

Requirements:
- Strategic, technically fluent Product Manager to drive privacy and data protection product investments
- Partner closely with privacy engineers, data engineers, infrastructure engineers, security engineers, legal, and business stakeholders to define and ship products
- Own the product roadmap for a portfolio of high-impact, cross-functional initiatives
- Build and own a strategic roadmap for various privacy and data protection domains, from ideation and requirements through execution, delivery, measurement, and iteration
- Drive adoption, development, and execution of cross-org privacy solutions through strong partnerships
- Translate privacy principles and business requirements into clear, actionable product requirements

- Product management experience building products that solve problems related to privacy engineering and data governance challenges, strongly preferred
- Ability to connect privacy and data protection investments to business outcomes; you understand how safe data use creates competitive advantage, not just reduces risk
- Experience driving highly technical, multi-team execution across engineering functions while coordinating effectively with stakeholders across engineering, legal, and business
- Strong understanding of global privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, VPPA, etc.) and translating into product decisions
- Familiarity with data lifecycle management, consent management, privacy rights, and basic security principles
- Principles-first mindset deeply rooted in problem definitions, with a bias for action
- Track record of shipping 0-1 products that enabled meaningful business outcomes while improving data trust, privacy posture, or member experience
- Organizational leadership and influence without relying on hierarchy, with the ability to lead through persuasion, partnership, and expertise
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills: great memos and presentations to technical and non-technical partners are extremely important
- Comfort with making tough prioritization decisions and navigating evolving business priorities and data landscapes
