Cargo Express Freight is hiring experienced Business Development Representatives to support their sales team. The role involves making outbound calls, qualifying sales opportunities, and scheduling appointments for sales representatives.
Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to prospective business customers
- Identify and qualify potential sales opportunities
- Speak with decision-makers and uncover their transportation and freight needs
- Schedule qualified appointments for our sales representatives
- Maintain accurate notes and follow-up activities in our CRM
- Follow structured calling, voicemail, email, and follow-up sequences
- Work closely with assigned sales representatives
- Meet daily and weekly activity, conversation, and appointment targets
- Participate in call reviews, coaching, role-playing, and sales training
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of outbound sales or business development experience
- Strong spoken and written English
- Confidence speaking with business owners and senior decision-makers
- Experience making cold calls
- The ability to ask good questions and listen carefully
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills
- The ability to handle rejection without losing consistency
- A reliable internet connection and professional remote workspace
- Willingness to work hours that align with the United States business day
- Experience using a CRM, dialer, or sales engagement platform
- Experience in logistics, freight, transportation, or B2B services is helpful but not required
