Momentus is an early mover in the in-space transportation and infrastructure services, aiming to commercialize space. They are seeking a Business Development Capture Manager to support the sales and marketing team, focusing on new space technologies and managing business proposals.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead proposals and capture new business
- Interface with the customer to understand their needs and requirements, and to explore solution trade spaces
- Liaise between Engineering, Product, Finance and Legal teams to develop winning solutions for the customer
- Conduct internal proposal reviews and approval processes
- Support the development and implementation of sales strategies for government and commercial space sectors
Requirements:
- Background in Space Related Technologies (In-Space Transport, Spacecraft design, Propulsion, etc)
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent technical communications skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- BS Degree in Engineering, Business, or related
- 10+ years relevant experience
- Required experience closely related & discipline to space
- U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3) is required
- Experience working with Salesforce and similar customer relationship management tools
- Experience working with Jira and similar project management tools
- Experience with proposal and/or technical writing
- Exceptional time management, organization, and coordination skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines while producing quality work products
- Previous experience working on DoD and other USG development and deployment programs
- Ability to hold and maintain a USG Security Clearance
- MS Degree in Engineering, Physics, or MBA
