Weston Solutions, Inc. is a premier provider of environmental and infrastructure services looking for a dynamic Client Sector Leader to drive growth in the water and wastewater markets across the United States. This role involves strategic planning, client outreach, and branding to capture market share while ensuring high-quality project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the water and wastewater sectors
- Leverage existing capabilities, contracts, and client relationships to develop and execute business strategies that drive sales in the water/wastewater sector
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with private sector clients across various industries
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and project updates
- Collaborate within the company working with our engineering team, technical subject matter experts, and other professionals
- Excellent technical skills with demonstrated clear and concise written and oral communication skills
- Lead the sales lifecycle including prospecting, positioning, capture planning, proposal development, interviews, and closing
- Active in appropriate associations, conferences, networking events to expand company’s presence
- Stay informed about legislative changes, funding opportunities, and competitive landscape
- Work closely with the Sales Director to improve sales efficiencies and capture effectiveness
- Provide guidance and leadership support to existing and new CAMs/CADs to identify and win water and wastewater opportunities within their client portfolio
Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university
- 20 or more years of experience in the water and wastewater engineering field including water treatment and distribution and wastewater collection and treatment
- 10 or more years of business development experience in this subject area
- Broad understanding of current and emerging environmental, regulatory, water, and wastewater needs of those clients
- Knowledge of State and Federal regulations and demonstrated ability to interface and negotiate with regulatory agencies
- Highly collaborative and willing and able to work with many stakeholders
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employee-owners, clients, and community leaders
- This position will require travel for meetings with prospective and current clients, conference attendance, and other related business development activities
- Master's degree in engineering from an accredited university
- Experience in the water and wastewater engineering field with emphasis on industrial wastewater
