American Express is a leading company in financial services, and they are seeking a Manager in Digital Product Management. This role involves leading the transformation of risk systems, managing product lifecycles, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure effective product implementation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineering teams, Business partners and other stakeholders during product lifecycle
- Clearly articulate the why, what, and how of the product or feature to Product Owners and constituents
- Communicating the vision to broader stakeholders
- Aligning on action items, owners, and due dates and tracking them to completion
- Take lead in Roadmap creation and Requirement gathering
- Manage the feature backlog using Agile Scrum methodologies, prioritizing features based on business value and user impact
- Translate software product roadmap into minimum viable product iterations
- Work closely with the Technology team to develop, test, and deliver the defined user stories for the platform capabilities and features and rapidly iterate new solutions through automation and demo/prototyping
- Own and accept all features for assigned scrum team or capabilities
- Review/demonstrate sprint-related or general functionality with external partners and customers, including the Director of Product Management and other colleagues
- Ensure that the appropriate tracking and reporting is in place to track performance post launch to evaluate future investment
- Understand and apply new trends and competitive best practices into requirements and team method of work
