A leading manufacturing company is looking for a Business Analyst. This is a 6 month contract to hire role and will be onsite 2 days a week in Lake Forest, IL. The BA will focus on reporting using Smartsheet, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc. The BA will help support senior leaders in the integration & transformation area.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the compilation and distribution of Steering Committee and All Hands presentation materials (investor and senior leadership presentations), bi-weekly enterprise commercial pipeline reporting, and various ad hoc reports, ensuring timely updates based on pre-established weekly cadence.
- Manage the collection and integration of initiative updates and status pages from project managers across functions.
- Track and follow up on action items from integration meetings, ensuring accountability and timely resolution.
- Coordinate logistics for recurring meetings, including room reservations, calendar invites, and screen sharing.
- Facilitate the incorporation of feedback into leadership meeting decks and ensure final versions are distributed to stakeholders.
- Maintain visibility into project tracking tools within MS Excel and ensure data accuracy for reporting purposes.
- Support the cadence and consistency of reporting across business units by managing templates and timelines.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal tools (e.g., MS Teams, SharePoint, Smartsheet), including user access, troubleshooting, and basic training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus.
- 1-5 years experience with reporting and collaboration tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint required.
- 1-5 years experience with reporting tools such as Smartsheet, Power BI or Tableau experience required.
- Smartsheet experience or willingness and ability to obtain advanced Smartsheet training required.
- Proficiency in managing recurring reporting cycles and synthesizing input from multiple stakeholders.
