Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Asana Systems Administrator for a contract assignment with one of our premier Financial clients in New York, NY . This role will be remote .

Responsibilities :
- Support and evolve the Asana work management platform, which enables teams to manage intake, workflow execution, and operational reporting.
- Focus on platform administration, workflow configuration, governance, automation, data hygiene, and system scalability.
- Execute against an established operational vision while helping maintain a consistent, efficient, and well-governed platform environment across teams.
- This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented systems administrator who enjoys building structure, improving operational workflows, and maintaining high-quality platform standards within a complex, fast-paced organization.
- Manage the backend and administrative components of Asana, including automation rules, custom fields, intake forms, and project architecture.
- Conduct routine governance and quality assurance reviews to maintain platform hygiene, automation consistency, and adherence to established standards.
- Support ad hoc platform requests while ensuring all changes adhere to governance standards and the established operational vision.
- Maintain documentation for platform architecture, automation, and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to optimize workflows and anticipate risks based on a deep understanding of platform structure and long-term operational goals.
- Support user onboarding, permissions management, and adoption of platform best practices across teams.
Required Skills :
- Bachelor's degree.
- Hands-on system administration experience with Asana or similar workflow management tools (Monday, ClickUp, Trello, Workfront, etc.).
- Proven ability to manage platform features such as fields, automation, intake forms, and reporting dashboards.
- Excels in maintaining data consistency, workflow governance, and platform standards across multiple teams.
- Experience using digital platforms to facilitate complex, cross-functional workflow solutions that support specific teams while maintaining broader connectivity.
- Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational discipline.
- Quick learner who can receive direction and independently execute on priorities.
- Proactive problem solver who can connect day-to-day execution with broader operational goals.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Curious, solution-oriented, and driven to improve systems and processes that support operational excellence.
Preferred Skills :
- Additional certifications in project management or Asana administration a plus.
- Familiarity supporting operational workflows within Marketing & Communications organizations a plus.
