Madcraft is a fast-growing digital transformation partner helping organizations modernize their operations. The Senior Business Development Representative (BDR) will focus on identifying opportunities, engaging decision-makers, and generating qualified meetings for Madcraft's leadership team across various industries.
Responsibilities:
- Own outbound prospecting activity across Madcraft's target accounts and industries
- Build and manage target account lists aligned with Madcraft's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
- Identify and engage decision-makers including: CEOs, Presidents, COOs, CROs, VPs of Sales, Marketing Leaders, Digital Transformation Leaders, IT Leaders
- Execute high-volume, high-quality outreach through: Cold email, LinkedIn messaging, Cold calling, Website visitor intelligence, Intent-based outreach, Follow-up sequences, Account-based prospecting
- Generate qualified discovery meetings for Madcraft's leadership and strategy teams
- Create new sales opportunities through consistent prospecting activity
- Qualify prospects based on business needs, timing, fit, and opportunity potential
- Maintain a strong understanding of prospect challenges and buying triggers
- Research target companies to identify opportunities around: Digital transformation, Legacy systems modernization, Customer portals, B2B commerce, CRM and ERP optimization, Customer experience, Operational inefficiencies, AI implementation
- Maintain accurate CRM records and prospect activity
- Track all outreach, meetings, and pipeline progression
- Provide weekly reporting on: Activity levels, Meetings booked, Opportunities created, Positive response rates, Pipeline generated, Campaign learnings
- Test and optimize messaging, targeting, and outreach strategies
- Collaborate with leadership on ICP refinement and campaign development
- Continuously improve conversion rates across outreach channels
- Contribute ideas to improve Madcraft's outbound sales engine
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a BDR, SDR, business development, or outbound sales role
- Proven track record generating qualified meetings and sales opportunities
- Comfortable speaking with senior executives and business leaders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of urgency, resilience, and persistence
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable working in a KPI-driven environment
- Self-motivated and highly accountable
- Able to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience targeting industrial, manufacturing, construction, distribution, or heavy equipment companies
- Experience with account-based marketing (ABM)
- Experience with intent data and website visitor intelligence
- Familiarity with digital transformation, customer portals, CRM, ERP, AI, or technology consulting services
