Cint is a pioneer in research technology, and they are seeking a Senior Product Manager for their Supply API. The role involves owning the end-to-end supplier integration experience and shaping the future of the Supply API portfolio to enhance value for suppliers and ensure a seamless integration process.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding and communicating the problems of our users and customers
- Defining requirements for a solution that our users and customers love
- Ensuring our products add value and contribute to the future vision of Cint
- Own the Supply API product portfolio at the heart of the Cint Exchange, and drive a consistent, well-designed API experience across it
- Own the full developer experience end to end: documentation, clear integration examples, sandbox environments, and the tooling (including future SDKs) that makes a newly signed supplier's path from contract to first live integration fast and frictionless
- Treat API design as product design: champion what makes a great API product — consistency, intuitive contracts, sensible versioning and change management, and ease of integration for external engineering teams
- Go beyond the integration mechanics to the business value of integrating: our platform generates revenue for suppliers, so you will design API products and capabilities that help suppliers earn more — a key differentiator versus competing marketplaces
- Translate the needs of business stakeholders and supplier customers into technically sophisticated product requirements that external engineering teams can adopt with confidence
- Manage change responsibly across a large, diverse integrated supplier base — balancing innovation with stability, and making evolution of the APIs predictable and low-friction for partners
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, supplier-facing commercial teams, support, and UX to deliver an industry-leading supply integration experience
- Draft product plans and documentation that foster informed decision-making and ensure accountability for the product lifecycle
- Be relentlessly data-informed: define the KPIs that determine product success, plan and shape the datasets needed to understand how one product performs versus another, and specify to engineering teams exactly what data and instrumentation the products must produce
- Establish and track feature success metrics and KPIs aligned with corporate goals — including integration time, API adoption, and supplier success measures — and drive decisions with the numbers
- Remain proactive regarding privacy and security regulations to guarantee compliance with global standards
- Demonstrate and promote our product value at high-level meetings and industry events
- Work independently and effectively in a remote-first environment
Requirements:
- A genuinely technical background: significant experience (around 10 years) in the tech industry, ideally including hands-on software engineering, before or alongside transitioning into product management
- 3+ years as a Product Manager in a B2B environment, with a proven track record managing technical products from concept to go-to-market
- Deep understanding of what makes a great API product: API design principles, developer experience, documentation, sandboxes, versioning, and integration tooling
- Demonstrated ability to talk directly with customers, understand the needs of regular business users, and translate them into technically sophisticated products that external engineering teams integrate against
- Strong data analysis skills: comfortable defining KPIs, working hands-on with platform data, and building the measurement foundation (datasets, instrumentation, dashboards) needed to evaluate whether a product is succeeding
- Experience with software development life cycles, agile methodologies, and tools like Confluence/JIRA
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing outcomes and collaborating with distributed teams
- Prior experience in ResTech, Ad Tech (SSP/DSP), or other programmatic marketplaces — particularly on the supply side
- Experience owning developer-facing or partner-facing API products with a large external integration base
- Experience with API change management, versioning strategies, and partner migration programs
- Understanding of basic privacy laws like GDPR / consent management
- Proven record of working with distributed and remote engineering teams
