LimeChain is a Blockchain & Web3 Solutions company seeking a Business Development Professional to grow Lime Institutional, their practice focused on institutional blockchain and digital asset infrastructure. The role involves developing commercial conversations with banks, fintechs, and investment funds while managing a pipeline of institutional prospects.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a pipeline of institutional prospects across banking, fintech, funds, asset management, and related financial services
- Source new opportunities through targeted outreach, warm networks, events, referrals, and partner channels
- Run early-stage discovery calls and qualify whether there is a real commercial path
- Map stakeholders, buying processes, timing, budget, and technical ownership inside target accounts
- Work with Lime Institutional’s technical, product, and leadership teams to shape relevant proposals and next steps
- Maintain clear CRM hygiene, account notes, follow-ups, and opportunity status
- Represent Lime Institutional in a credible, senior way with financial services buyers
Requirements:
- 5+ years in business development, sales, partnerships, or account growth in fintech, financial services, banking infrastructure, capital markets, payments, or institutional technology
- Track record of owning the full sales cycle from qualification to closure, follow-on expansion, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities
- Strong understanding of how financial institutions evaluate vendors, partners, and implementation providers
- Ability to qualify opportunities beyond surface-level interest
- Commercially alert, comfortable creating next steps, and able to move serious conversations forward without sounding transactional
- Comfortable speaking with senior commercial, product, operations, innovation, and technology stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Natural networker and relationship builder
- Self-directed, commercially sharp, and disciplined with follow-up
- Existing network across banks, investment funds, asset managers, fintechs, family offices, or digital asset teams
- Familiarity with stablecoins, tokenization, custody, payments, RWA, blockchain infrastructure, or institutional crypto
- Experience selling technical services, implementation work, infrastructure, or complex B2B solutions
- Prior exposure to partner-led or founder-led sales environments
