Attindas Hygiene Partners designs, manufactures, and markets absorbent hygiene products. The Senior Business Financial Analyst will facilitate the gathering and analysis of financial information, reporting results, and making recommendations to improve financial performance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparation, generation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. Includes preparing waterfall charts that bridge comparative periods while providing detailed commentary on variances
- Participate in monthly close process to include preparation of journal entries and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Prepare Distributor fees and Accrued Selling expense files
- Prepare spreadsheet monthly SG&A, manufacturing, freight and financial reports. Calculate and prepare monthly journal entry for revenue recognition
- Prepare discount reserve entry and analysis
- Reconcile monthly global shipments, CuPPs reporting and Oracle sales journal
- Update monthly flash report once financials are complete
- Distribute monthly SG&A detailed files
- Calculate volume, price, mix monthly files for bridges and input comments
- Populate monthly grids for sales and production volumes
- Update actual sales on EBITDA tracker file
- Complete borrowing base and balance sheet analytics files
- Process monthly, quarterly and annual distributor fee credit memos or check request
- Assist in the preparation of a detailed rolling twelve-month forecast based on sales, marketing, manufacturing and corporate input
- Prepare and interpret profitability by customer, product, channel and product category
- Interact with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Finance and other departments on business issues that impact financial performance or projections
- Assist in establishing operating procedures and reporting tools that allow management to make informed business decisions
- Recognize emerging trends and make recommendations to improve business profitability
- Assist in annual audit review and SOX compliance for internal and external auditors
- Review financial transactions and apply accounting theory and principles to ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable laws, rules, policies, and procedures
- Generate “what-if” analysis based on selected financial/business assumptions
- Responsible for providing internal customers (Sales, Marketing and Operations) with information and ad-hoc reports and analysis as requested
- Assist in continuous improvement, development, modification and implementation of financial systems as necessary
- Lead special projects or perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 4- 6 years relevant experience in financial reporting and analysis
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/Finance
- Mastery skill level and knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
