The Learning Commons provides centralized academic support for University of Cincinnati students. We bring together best practices in teaching and learning with hundreds of outstanding Peer Educators to create flexible academic success programming. We’re seeking motivated candidates who enjoy working in a fast-moving environment to help students achieve their full potential!
This position will support the Supplemental Review Sessions (SRS) program, including the Math and Science Support (MASS) Center drop-in study table tutoring. SRS is a credit-bearing, pass/not-proficient course where students review material relevant to their primary mathematics or statistics course under the guidance and facilitation of an SRS Leader who has previously been successful in the course. The MASS Center is drop-in, group tutoring for a variety of 1000 and 2000-level mathematics and quantitative science, business, and engineering courses.
Please note that all candidates for Graduate Student Assistant positions must be in good standing with their degree programs (e.g., 3.0 GPA + making adequate progress to degree) and meet any eligibility criteria published by the Graduate College. Preference for candidates with degree/experience in education or STEM field.

Hours: This is a 10-hour per week appointment.
Duration: The position will last for one calendar year from July 2026-June 2027
Pay: The position is a $9,000 stipend position with pay that averages to $19.56 per hour. Graduate Assistants are not required to work during university breaks. If needed, Graduate Assistants will be paid separately for time worked during these weeks.
