Faith in God Charity Missions is a faith-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering widows, orphans, and underserved communities. The Digital Marketing & SEO Specialist will support the organization by improving its online visibility and helping more people discover its mission and programs through digital marketing and content strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Improve the organization’s visibility across search engines and digital platforms
- Optimize website content, blog posts, and campaign pages for search engines (SEO)
- Support the creation and distribution of mission-driven digital content across website, email, blog, and social media
- Research keywords and trends relevant to nonprofit work, humanitarian outreach, and faith-based impact initiatives
- Analyze website traffic and engagement data to identify opportunities for improving reach and engagement
- Provide recommendations to improve how audiences discover and interact with the organization’s content
- Collaborate with the communications team to ensure consistent messaging and storytelling across all digital channels
- Monitor digital trends and suggest strategies to strengthen online awareness and engagement
- Support the development of content strategies that highlight programs, impact stories, and community needs
- Assist in maintaining basic website updates and content improvements (if applicable)
- Perform other related communications and digital outreach duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and search engine optimization (SEO) principles
- Ability to analyze website data and translate insights into practical recommendations
- Good written communication skills with attention to clarity and detail
- Familiarity with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics or similar)
- Understanding of content strategy and online audience engagement
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote or volunteer environment
- Basic knowledge of website structure and content optimization
- Passion for humanitarian work and faith-based mission impact
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, content strategy, or related field preferred
- Experience working on websites, blogs, or nonprofit campaigns is an advantage
