Synergis is a workforce solutions partner serving thousands of businesses and job seekers nationwide. As the Content Lead for the clients Small Business, you will own the content strategy and execution that defines how educates and empowers small business owners globally.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Content Creation & H1 Deliverables In your first six months, you will architect and execute three foundational pillars for our small business community:
- The clients Small Business Playbook: Author the definitive, comprehensive "How to grow your business" playbook, translating product features into actionable growth strategies for time-strapped entrepreneurs
- Customer Success Case Studies: Identify, interview, and write compelling, data-driven success stories highlighting SMBs utilizing full suite of tools to scale
- Thought Leadership & Research Reports: Partner with our Insights and Comms teams to turn data into high-value trend reports and editorial content that establishes a trusted voice for SMBs
- Multi-Product Storytelling
- Synthesize diverse offerings (Premium Marketing Solutions, Talent Solutions, and Sales Solutions) into a single, unified, customer-centric narrative
- Develop content that serves the entire marketing funnel―from top-of-funnel brand awareness to down-funnel product adoption and retention
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Localization
- Partner closely with Product Marketing, Brand, Insights, Web, and Communications teams to ensure content consistency and strategic alignment
- Work with regional and global marketing teams to ensure content frameworks are scalable and adaptable for priority international markets
Requirements:
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial strategy, or brand copywriting, ideally with a focus on B2B or small-and-medium businesses (SMB)
- Portfolio: A proven track record of producing high-quality business guides, long-form playbooks, and data-driven thought leadership reports
- SMB Audience Expertise: Deep, empathetic understanding of the small business ecosystem, their operational pain points, and how they consume information
- Thrives in Ambiguity: Experience working as an early hire on a team or launching a new sub-brand within a matrixed, global organization
- Cross-Functional Diplomat: Exceptional relationship-building skills with a proven ability to influence and collaborate across product, insights, and creative teams
- Analytical Mindset: Data-informed approach to content; ability to look at engagement metrics, brand health dashboards, and user insights to optimize content performance
- Editorial Judgment: Strong creative taste, sharp editing skills, and the ability to maintain a consistent brand voice across diverse content formats
