Imagineear is a leading provider of multimedia content and technology solutions. They are seeking a Business Development Executive for the Americas to grow their presence in the sports sector and visitor attractions, focusing on identifying new opportunities and building relationships across the region.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and approach new business opportunities across sports venues, stadiums, commercial and cultural visitor attractions in the United States and wider Americas region
- Build and maintain well-researched target lists for prospecting and outreach
- Pitch Imagineear’s audio, multimedia, digital and immersive solutions to prospective clients
- Represent Imagineear at relevant trade shows, conferences, industry events and networking opportunities
- Monitor existing contracts and upcoming tender opportunities, ensuring Imagineear is well positioned when opportunities arise
- Schedule meetings, prepare proposals and manage activity through Imagineear’s customer relationship management systems and internal databases
- Work closely with the wider sales, account management, creative and delivery teams to shape compelling solutions for clients
- Conduct and document background research into prospects, sectors, competitors and market trends
- Travel regularly across the US, and occasionally internationally, including initial week of training in London
- Take on additional commercial and strategic tasks as the Americas business develops
- Offer constructive solutions to problems and issues, or opportunities as they arise
- Undertake any other tasks requested of you by your manager from time to time
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in sales, business development, partnerships or a client-facing commercial role
- Strong Numerical Skills: You have the ability to interpret sales data, revenue forecasts, support in preparing commercial proposals
- Business Development acumen: You enjoy opening doors, building a pipeline and creating opportunities from scratch
- Confidence with technology: You do not need to be technical, but you should be comfortable selling technology-led products and able to understand digital, multimedia and immersive solutions
- Affinity with sport and culture: A genuine interest in sport, stadiums, fan experience, visitor attractions, museums, culture or live experiences
- Strong communication skills: Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to present clearly and adapt your style to different audiences
- Independence: The ability to work remotely in the US, manage your own time and stay motivated without constant supervision
- Team orientation: A desire to be part of a global team, collaborating across time zones with colleagues across the US, in London and internationally
- Commercial intelligence: The ability to research prospects, understand client needs and identify where Imagineear can add value
- Energy and resilience: A positive, proactive attitude and the persistence needed to succeed in a developing market
- Willingness to travel: Availability to travel frequently across the United States and occasionally internationally
