Business Process Analyst

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Business Process Analyst for a leading global infrastructure organization. The role involves supporting large-scale datacenter network initiatives and optimizing performance through collaboration between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate global network architecture including IP transit, peering relationships, and dark fiber assets to optimize performance
• Analyze datacenter utilization trends and perform capacity planning to forecast future interconnection needs
• Lead cross-functional infrastructure projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
• Translate technical network designs into business requirements, user stories, and project roadmaps
• Develop and track KPIs, build dashboards (Power BI/Tableau), and present insights to executive leadership

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Business Analyst or Technical Project Management experience within datacenter, telecom, or internet infrastructure environments
• Strong networking expertise including OSI layers, BGP routing, MPLS, DWDM, and cross-connect architecture
• Experience with Agile or hybrid project methodologies using tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Microsoft Project
• Advanced data analysis skills including SQL and proficiency in Python, R, or Excel
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, MIS, or a related technical field
