About this role
- 12+ years of experience in Release Management, Production Implementation, Change Management, and Software Deployment within complex enterprise IT environments.
- Lead end-to-end release implementation activities, including planning, scheduling, coordination, deployment, validation, and post-implementation support for software and infrastructure releases.
- Develop detailed implementation, deployment, rollback, and contingency plans while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and production environments.
- Collaborate with Program Managers, Project Managers, Technical Leads, Environment Teams, Operations, and third-party vendors to execute successful production releases.
- Manage enterprise Change Management processes by preparing change requests, obtaining approvals, coordinating CAB activities, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Drive CI/CD adoption by partnering with development and engineering teams to automate release processes, improve deployment efficiency, and reduce manual intervention.
- Facilitate release readiness reviews, implementation bridge calls, issue triage, production support, and escalation management throughout the release lifecycle.
- Monitor release execution, communicate release status, risks, dependencies, and implementation progress to business stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Participate in Post-Implementation Quality Assessments (PIQA), conduct root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance release management processes.
- Strong expertise in SAFe Agile, JIRA, Release Management, Production Support, Change Management, CI/CD, stakeholder management, and working across Windows, UNIX, Mainframe, and web-based application environments.
