About this role
Intellectt Inc. is seeking experienced Electrical Engineers to support the design and development of complex data center and industrial facility power systems for large-scale, multi-discipline engineering programs. The successful candidate will contribute to engineering design activities, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and help deliver high-quality electrical design packages for complex facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide electrical engineering design support, technical collaboration, and quality reviews for engineering design packages
- Support various phases of the design process, including conceptual design, detailed engineering, and construction documentation
- Interact with clients, owners, contractors, and project stakeholders to support design coordination and construction activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to establish design requirements and develop construction documents
- Perform engineering design for data center electrical systems, including medium and low voltage power distribution, UPS systems, emergency power systems, grounding, lighting, and low-voltage communication systems
- Support retrofit design efforts for existing building electrical systems to meet evolving client requirements
- Manage assigned design activities while supporting project quality, scope, schedule, and budget objectives
- Provide technical guidance and support to electrical engineering team members
- Review engineering documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards and codes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical engineering design, including medium and low voltage distribution systems, building electrical systems, and campus-style power distribution
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in any U.S. state
- Extensive experience with industrial facility electrical design
- Minimum of 3 years of data center facility design experience
- Experience supporting large-scale projects, including greenfield site developments
- Experience with data center, AI factory, or other mission-critical facility projects
- Working knowledge of Revit and/or BIM software
- Strong understanding of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code)
- Strong computer skills and ability to work with engineering design tools and documentation systems
- Ability to lead and collaborate with electrical engineering teams
