Software Business Analyst / Project Manager

Elevate.Cloud is a software consulting company specializing in implementing software and custom AI workflows for businesses. They are seeking a Software Business Analyst / Project Manager to translate business needs into requirements, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure successful delivery of solutions to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Mind-read stakeholders: Turn “we kinda need something like that thing” into bullet-proof requirements
• Map pain points like a therapist maps emotions - only with workflows and process diagrams
• Host workshops: You’re part ringmaster, part UN negotiator
• Translate business dreams into user stories, wireframes, and acceptance criteria
• Validate delivered solutions with clients - because “works for me” isn’t good enough
• Own the plan: keep projects on-scope, on-time, and on-budget, and sound the alarm early when one of those three starts wobbling
• Run the delivery rhythm: sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog grooming, retros. You keep the trains running without becoming the person everyone dreads on the calendar
• Wrangle scope creep: know the difference between "quick change" and "that's a new project," and hold the line kindly
• Keep everyone honest on status: clear updates to clients and internal leads, risks flagged before they become fires, dependencies tracked before they trip you

Requirements:

• Experience as Business Analyst or hybrid BA/PM role
• Expert at process mapping (Lucid, Visio etc.)
• Stellar communication: you can calm a CEO and coach a dev on the same call
• Comfort with ambiguity- your safe zone is 'we'll figure it out'
• Project management tools (Jira/Jira-adjacent tool mastery)
• Proven delivery track record: you've steered software projects from kickoff to sign-off, not just documented them
• Fluent in Agile/Scrum, and pragmatic about it. You flex the framework to fit the client, not the other way around
• Command of scope, timeline, budget, and risk. You can build a plan and defend it in a room
• Juggling skills: comfortable running multiple concurrent engagements without dropping a ball (or a client)
• Stakeholder reporting that lands: status that a busy exec can absorb in 60 seconds
• Salesforce exposure
• Wire-framing flair/expertise (Sketch, Balsamiq, Lucid or just drawing pictures on post-it notes)
• PM certification (PMP, CSM, PMI-PBA). Nice, not required; we care more that you can run the thing than that you framed the cert
