Signant Health is a global evidence generation company that supports clinical trials with smart technology and scientific expertise. The Senior Director, Enterprise Business Development will lead growth in the Enterprise market segment, focusing on expanding clinical services and technology, driving sales initiatives, and building partnerships with senior decision-makers.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales goals for assigned Enterprise accounts and territory, aligned with business objectives for the financial year
- Develop and execute an annual territory or strategic account sales plan to meet annual sales targets, providing monthly progress updates to the Vice President, Enterprise Business Development
- Lead sales initiatives for Signant Health's clinical technology portfolio, acting as the primary customer contact and collaborating with technical teams to achieve sales objectives
- Coordinate with internal teams — Solutions Architects, Contracts and Proposals, Technical Solutions, BD Operations, and Operations — to deliver tailored customer proposals that address both client needs and business goals
- Build strong partnerships with customer decision-makers in the assigned territory to drive growth of Signant Health solutions
- Forecast quarterly and annual sales achievements, ensuring sales activity targets are met in line with the company's compensation plan
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment to the customer vision, initiatives, and strategy, and support new business opportunities
- Represent Signant Health at industry events and participate in all commercial activities to build brand awareness, maintain industry relationships and knowledge, and identify and execute leads

- Deep expertise in clinical research technology and eClinical solutions within the pharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrated leadership in proposal development and bid defense processes for large, complex deals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present solutions, vision, and strategy externally and at all levels
- Strong strategic planning abilities, with a track record of developing and executing sales plans that meet or exceed targets
- Competitive mindset with a drive to achieve and surpass goals
- Experience within the Clinical Research / Life Sciences industry
- Ability to build and manage a comprehensive sales funnel and pipeline, providing accurate sales forecasts
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to bring together cross-functional teams to deliver winning proposals
- Strong business acumen with a focus on outcomes, along with solid analytical skills and a creative, resourceful, learning-agile mindset
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related technical field is highly preferred
- Previous success in selling eClinical solutions, particularly in the pharmaceutical or CRO industries
- Experience working in a matrix reporting structure within a global organization
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com or other CRM systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
