Software Development Engineer in Test

ALKEME Insurance is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of software products. The SDET will collaborate closely with the development team to identify and resolve defects, while also creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automated tests using industry-standard tools and frameworks
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve defects
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Execute automated tests and analyze test results
• Identify and report defects and issues
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability
• Continuously improve the testing process and tools

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience in software development and testing
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages (Java, Python, C#, etc.)
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Appium, TestNG, etc.)
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
