Senior Platform Engineering Lead Kubernetes & GPU- Location : Chandler, AZ (Hybrid) Long Term Contract
Position Summary
The Senior Platform Engineering Lead Kubernetes & GPU is the hands-on senior engineer partnering with the lead infrastructure architect on Kubernetes, Openshift, and NVIDIA GPU platform validation at a financial organization. The role provides actual cluster access, deploys and validates telemetry collection agents in client environments, confirms Prometheus persistent storage configurations and validates GPU node DaemonSEt topology including DCGM exporter configuration.

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of platform engineering experience with hands-on Kubernetes and OpenShift production work
• Deep NVIDIA GPU Platform experience drivers, GPU Operator, DCGM, Device plugins, MIG familiarity even if the client is not using MIG
• Triton inference Server and vLLM operational familiarity metrics endpoints, serving patterns, batching behavior
• Prometheus deployment and storage design experience at scale
• Fluency in Helm, Kustomize, ArgoCD and GitOps delivery patterns

Preferred Qualification-
Certified Kubernetes Administrator or Red Hat certified OpenShift Administrator
Prior SLURM cluster operational experience
NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute Certifications
Experience with large-scale multi-cluster GitOps delivery
