Senior Engineering Manager – Developer Tooling

Role Overview

• Run the platform day-to-day — reliability, performance, security, and developer ergonomics
• Operate the partnership model with application teams
• Drive AI and agentic coding adoption
• Partner with InfoSec and platform peers on software supply chain security
• Own the metrics — reliability, build success and duration, adoption, developer satisfaction

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• 4+ years building or operating developer platforms, CI/CD systems, or other internal engineering infrastructure
• 4+ years of hands-on software engineering with backend technologies (e.g., Java, Python, Go, Node.js)
• 3+ years operating one or more enterprise CI or CD platforms (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy)
• 3+ years directly managing engineering teams, including hiring and performance management
• Experience leading teams in Agile or Scrum environments
