Lead Infrastructure Engineer

Pipe is a remote-first startup focused on building a reliable and scalable cloud infrastructure. As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer, you will support the growth of the infrastructure and collaborate with various engineering teams to ensure it meets their needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure solutions for business-critical applications and services
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure infrastructure meets their requirements and is easy to use
• Maintain a strong security posture through close collaboration with the security team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues and drive timely resolution
• Automate infrastructure deployment and management processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work
• Participate in on-call rotation to support critical infrastructure issues

Requirements:

• CI/CD system management
• GCP preferred; AWS or Azure experience is transferable
• Observability systems - Datadog and/or OpenTelemetry preferred
• TypeScript and/or Golang - beneficial but less critical
