YER HR Solutions is representing a leading global provider of equipment and services for the packaging of liquid products. The Field Service Engineer will support equipment installation, commissioning, and provide ongoing technical support to customers across North America.
Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and commission packaging equipment at customer facilities in accordance with technical, contractual, and safety requirements
- Support equipment start-up, commissioning, and testing activities at customer sites
- Collaborate with installation site managers and customer personnel to ensure successful project execution
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to mechanical, electrical, automation, and control systems
- Provide technical support during equipment installation, commissioning, and throughout warranty and post-warranty periods
- Troubleshoot equipment performance issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
- Deliver operator and maintenance training to support successful equipment handover and ongoing operation
- Provide after-sales support and technical assistance to customers
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional service and effective communication
- Prepare service reports, job progress updates, and documentation related to onsite activities
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, project requirements, and customer-specific regulations
- Identify and communicate potential service, upgrade, and aftermarket opportunities observed in the field
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a Technical Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, required
- 2–3 years of experience in field service, equipment installation, commissioning, or a related technical role, preferably within the beverage, packaging, manufacturing, or industrial equipment industries
- Strong technical expertise in one or more of the following areas: Mechanical Systems, Automation Platforms (B&R, Siemens, Elau, Allen-Bradley), Electrical Systems, Aseptic Technology
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently and efficiently
- Self-motivated and customer-focused with a strong sense of ownership
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with customers and internal teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively and work at customer sites
- Must be authorized to perform work within the U.S
- Knowledge of Spanish, Italian, or French is considered an advantage
- Specialization in automotive mechanics or aseptic systems is a plus
