The IS Business Intelligence Developer - Analytical Trainer role involves overseeing the business intelligence cycle, collaborating with various departments to analyze data, and providing training and curriculum development for business intelligence solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Participates in and leads classroom instruction for at least 6 unique courses offered in the Revenue Cycle Course Catalog
- Identifies and provides recommendations to leadership for identified student learning opportunities
- Develops curriculum for new and existing courses and provides organizational direction for online-files on training drive
- Delivering training or curriculum development, including experience using various audio/visual equipment for presentations and training sessions
- Develops logical modeling and presentation solutions to implement requirements using best practices within the business intelligence environments
- Works with business stakeholders to understand their business objectives and develop analytical solutions to improve business operations
- Maintains and develops documentation to identify and define processes or procedures
- Manages data by following best practices
- Supports and monitors business intelligence systems and processes
- Administers business intelligence server(s) and/or processes
- Performs other related duties as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems (MIS), business, or related field
- 1 year of experience with SQL programming language, data analysis and profiling, relational database systems, reporting, dashboards and business intelligence systems
- 1 year of experience as business analyst, collaborating with end users to define metrics and business requirements
- SQL and data analysis skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective critical thinking and analytical skills and ability to apply those skills to meet business needs
- Knowledge of reporting and business intelligence concepts and ability to collaborate with end users to define metrics and business requirements
- Ability to effectively manage multiple demands
- 1 year of experience with Oracle, SQL programming language, and data analysis and profiling
- 1 year of experience with data visualization using Tableau, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise edition and/or Crystal Reports
- 1 year of healthcare experience
