M-Works Search is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer specializing in Defense OEM Components to help engineers build better products through advanced shock and vibration solutions. The role involves developing new business, strengthening OEM relationships, and collaborating with various teams to integrate engineered components into next-generation defense platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new OEM business opportunities
- Build relationships with engineering, purchasing, operations, program management, and executive leadership
- Identify opportunities to specify engineered components into customer applications
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals
- Support technical discussions involving shock and vibration
- Coordinate projects from opportunity through production
- Develop territory growth strategies
- Travel approximately 30%
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related engineering discipline
- Three or more years of technical sales, business development, account management, or applications engineering experience
- Experience selling engineered components, mechanical assemblies, or technical solutions to OEM customers
- Experience developing OEM relationships
- Ability to communicate technical concepts with engineers and business leaders
- Ability to travel approximately 30%
- This position requires access to information controlled under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants must be able to satisfy U.S. export control requirements. U.S. Person status, as defined by ITAR, is required for this position
