Senior Staff Software Engineer - AI Innovation

SpyCloud is on a mission to make the internet a safer place by disrupting the criminal underground. They are seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to drive AI innovation by exploring emerging technologies and prototyping new ideas, ultimately shaping SpyCloud’s AI strategy and accelerating the adoption of transformative technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Drive AI innovation across SpyCloud by identifying, evaluating, and applying emerging technologies in AI, agents, and knowledge systems
• Rapidly prototype new products, workflows, and capabilities to validate technical feasibility and business value
• Architect and build scalable AI systems that combine LLMs, graph technologies, proprietary intelligence, and cloud-native services
• Partner with product, engineering, data science, and executive leadership to transform successful prototypes into production-ready capabilities
• Develop reusable frameworks, tools, and reference architectures that enable teams across SpyCloud to leverage AI effectively
• Evaluate and benchmark emerging models, agent frameworks, and AI tooling, providing technical guidance on adoption and best practices
• Mentor engineers and influence technical strategy through hands-on leadership, clear communication, and cross-functional collaboration
