Imagineeer is a fast-growing SBA 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Business headquartered in Arlington, VA, delivering federal AI modernization across various sectors. The company is seeking a DevOps Engineer with expertise in ServiceNow to design, develop, and maintain applications and workflows, while automating processes to support federal cybersecurity and IT service management operations.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations using low-code/no-code tools (Flow Designer, App Engine Studio, Workflow Studio)
- Administer the ServiceNow platform, including instance configuration, user/role management, ACLs, and module setup
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow application development and deployment (update sets, application scopes, source control integration)
- Develop and manage REST/SOAP API integrations connecting ServiceNow with other enterprise systems
- Support ITSM, ITOM, and/or SecOps module configuration and enhancement, as applicable to contract requirements
- Automate platform operations and reporting to improve system reliability, security posture, and operational visibility
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and IT teams to align ServiceNow development with federal security and compliance requirements (NIST, FISMA)
- Troubleshoot platform issues, manage upgrades/patches, and maintain instance health and performance
- Partner with Program Management and technical leads to support contract deliverables and documentation
Requirements:
- 6–10 years of experience in DevOps engineering, with demonstrated ServiceNow development and administration experience
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow low-code/no-code tools (Flow Designer, App Engine Studio, or similar)
- Proficiency building and consuming REST/SOAP APIs for system integrations
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API) and platform customization
- Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps automation practices applied to ServiceNow application lifecycle
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively in a fully remote, distributed team environment
- U.S. Citizenship (per contract requirements)
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Prior experience supporting federal government contracts
- Familiarity with federal cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements
- Experience with ServiceNow ITOM or SecOps modules
