VHB is a company that plays a vital role in developing and enhancing connectivity through infrastructure projects. They are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to support the planning, analysis, and design of a diverse portfolio of structural projects across New England.
Responsibilities:
- Support, develop, organize and implements structural planning, analysis, preliminary and final design document preparation
- Task management
- Reviews plans, specifications, reports, and analyses to meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements
Requirements:
- 8-11 years of professional experience in structural bridge and building design required, construction phasing, and complex projects
- BS in Civil Engineering
- PE licensure required
- Extensive knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures in structural engineering
- Demonstrated excellence in technical writing
- Team oriented with strong capability to work independently
- Robust technical and critical thinking skills
- Detail oriented and quality focused
- Strong project management skills
- Motivated to lead and mentor others
- Knowledge of structural engineering software
- Master's Degree preferred
- AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation v8, Revit, OpenRoads, OpenBridge and/or Connect experience is a strong plus
