Merciv is the company behind Fermah, a universal proof generation layer that operates as a marketplace for GPUs and FPGAs. They are seeking a dedicated Solidity & Rust Engineer to work on cutting-edge mechanism design for ZK proof generation, taking ownership of key integrations and driving tangible results.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the smart contracts for Fermah’s payment system
- Maintain and upgrade contracts with fixes or new features
- Assist with security audits
- Contribute to the Rust codebase alongside Solidity development (this is not a full-time Solidity role)
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in Rust and Solidity
- Experience implementing complex smart contracts in Solidity
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering
- Ownership mindset
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with EVM off-chain development (reth, ethers)
- Experience with implementing and utilizing gRPC APIs
- Understanding of peer-to-peer networking concepts, including libp2p and Distributed Hash Tables (DHT)
- Basic knowledge of cryptographic principles, including hash functions and pairing-based cryptography (ECDSA, BLS)
