Senior Software Engineer (Remote)

CyOpsPath is a job marketplace seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a rapidly growing software company. The role involves building scalable products and internal systems for enterprise customers, with a focus on designing backend services and collaborating with product teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable backend services and APIs
• Develop systems that support high-volume operational workflows
• Work across product, platform, and infrastructure initiatives
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ship quickly
• Contribute to architecture and technical decision-making
• Own projects throughout the full development lifecycle

Requirements:

• Strong software engineering fundamentals
• Experience building modern backend systems
• Design and build scalable backend services and APIs
• Develop systems that support high-volume operational workflows
• Work across product, platform, and infrastructure initiatives
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ship quickly
• Contribute to architecture and technical decision-making
• Own projects throughout the full development lifecycle
• Experience with some combination of Node.js, TypeScript, Python, PostgreSQL, AWS or other cloud platforms, Distributed systems / event-driven architectures
• Startup or high-growth product company experience preferred
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, highly autonomous environments
• Strong ownership mentality and product thinking
