Brook + Whittle is a company focused on innovative packaging solutions, and they are seeking a VP of Product Management and Marketing. The role involves leading product strategy, overseeing product development, and executing integrated marketing strategies to drive demand and customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle management for labeling solutions (e.g.,pressure-sensitive labels, shrink sleeves, flexible packaging, digital labeling technologies)
- Drive innovation by identifying market trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies
- Oversee product development processes, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and profitability
- Establish pricing strategies and value propositions aligned with market positioning and margin targets
- Optimize the product portfolio to balance growth, profitability, and operational efficiency
- Develop process and conduct regular portfolio reviews, including product performance, rationalization, and investment prioritization
- Partner with operations and supply chain to align product offerings with manufacturing capabilities and scalability
- Lead new product introduction processes and stage-gate governance
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to drive demand, brand awareness, and customer engagement
- Oversee market segmentation, competitive analysis, and customer insights to inform go-to-market strategies
- Lead branding, digital marketing, trade shows, and customer-facing campaigns
- Collaborate with sales leadership to enable effective selling tools, messaging, and training
- Build and lead high-performing teams across product management, marketing, and portfolio strategy
- Partner with Sales, Operations, R&D, Finance, and Customer Service to ensure alignment and execution
- Foster a customer-centric and innovation-driven culture
- Own product line P&L, including revenue growth, margin performance, and ROI on product investments
- Develop and track KPIs related to product success, market share, and marketing effectiveness
- Support annual planning, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning
- Identify and improve inefficient processes, create processes where none exist, and establish clear levels of authority and decision-making guidelines
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, packaging, manufacturing, or related field
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in product development, commercialization, or strategic growth roles
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to launch
- Strong business acumen, financial orientation, and customer-facing leadership skills
- Experience managing teams and driving enterprise-level change

- Experience in labels, packaging, printing, converting, or a related manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
