Garner Health is a fast-growing healthcare technology company dedicated to transforming the healthcare economy. The Strategic Accounts Executive will play a key role in retaining and growing small group employer clients by serving as a strategic partner on plan design and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Own the process to retain and upsell Garner’s small group employer clients (25 - 250 lives)
- Collaborate with the Client Success Manager to ensure clients receive an excellent experience and achieve expected results
- Serve as the client’s trusted strategic partner on plan design, bending cost trends, and driving plan performance
- Establish and manage key strategic broker and client relationships
- Monitor overall client health, anticipate strategic needs, and execute proactive plans to address key account risks
- Partner with finance, product, data, and technology teams to deliver reports demonstrating Garner's value and ROI
- Drive improved Net Revenue Retention and other KPIs for your book of business
Requirements:
- Deep fully insured and small group self-funded health plan design and benefits knowledge, including experience advising employer clients on benefits strategy and cost performance
- 4+ years of experience in a commercially-oriented consultant/broker, account management, or sales role in the employee benefits space
- A deep commercial focus with proven results of achieving retention and upsell targets year over year
- A self-starter mentality with the ability to work in an ambiguous, rapidly evolving, and fast-paced startup environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and articulation skills
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems in ambiguous strategic situations
