Merciv is building the infrastructure powering the next generation of internet-native financial systems. They are seeking a Backend Engineering Manager to lead and scale their backend infrastructure team, ensuring the delivery of robust and scalable backend systems for Web3 payments.
Responsibilities:
- Own the overall output of the backend engineering team - deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure that supports our growing Web3 payments platform
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of backend engineers while fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning
- Collaborate with product and protocol teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
- Establish engineering best practices, code quality standards, and deployment processes
- Lead incident response and post-mortem processes to continuously improve system reliability
