Alaska Directional Drilling is looking for a field HSE technician to help support the HSE department during our busy summer construction season out of our main office in Palmer, Alaska. Under the general direction and guidance of HSE leadership, the HSE Field Technician will be field based for most of the workday. The HSE Technician will maintain a safety presence across assigned work sites and will be largely available in accordance with project work schedules which may include extended or after-hour work, dependent on the work scope for the day.
Title: Field HSE Technician Intern
Dates of Employment: 6-month internship; May 1, 2026 -November 1, 2026
Employment dates subjective to program/school enrollment
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 6:30am to 5:00pm
Wage: $20/hour
Work gear: Steel or composite toe work boots required to be worn on worksite. All other PPE to be provided by Alaska Directional; Hard hat, hi-viz/reflective safety vest, work gloves, safety glasses, and noise protection.
College Degree/ Major Preferred: Currently enrolled in Occupational Safety and Health BS, AAS, or minor for degree or completed OSH BS or AAS
Apprentice Program Preferred: N/A
