In the role of Sales Development Specialist I, you will support Shure’s National Account business by executing go-to-market strategies, analyzing program performance, and enhancing customer engagement to drive growth.
Responsibilities:
- Supports management of key national and regional accounts, developing and executing a progressive business plan based on a strong understanding of our end-user needs that aligns with brand strategy
- Develops a detailed knowledge of dealer programs in regards to performance versus goal. identifies areas of concern and success, and proposes action plans to improve performance
- Works closely with the Regional Marketing and Market Development teams to increase meaningful exposure of Shure products and the Shure brand
- Owns reporting, new item setup, administrative functions of account management
- Monitors territory profit margins and plans accordingly to meet or exceed division objectives
- Develops and implements an effective schedule of sales meetings, promotional and product planning, trade shows, clinics, business meetings and collaborative efforts cross-functionally
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or relevant professional field
- 0-2 years of experience as a sales account professional beyond entry level with a comprehensive technical knowledge of audio principles and products
- Demonstrates good judgment. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
- Ability to build productive internal and external working relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments
- Detail-oriented, professional, ambitious, well-organized, and good time management skills
- Positive attitude, team-oriented, self-starter who can work alone and collaboratively to achieve goals
- Must be willing to be located in the region or at the location of Shure partner
- Ability to travel 50% or more (includes local customer visits and regional/national travel)
- Monthly visits to Niles HQ or other regional Shure offices for training and education
- Ability to stay current on Shure products, technology, marketplace, and their practical applications, as well as competitive products
- Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Market experience in Music Industry, retail, broadcast, integration, and/or production a plus
- Knowledge of CRM-related applications and marketing automation applications
